What We Collect

When you create a PortShift account or start a Gong trial, we collect your identity, work email, optional contract timing, attribution parameters, trial status, content-free inventory findings, and purchase events. Gong credentials are used in memory for the scan and are not written to our databases or logs.

Our application stores an HMAC-SHA-256 value derived from your IP address for rate limiting, not the raw address in the marketing database. Hosting and security providers may process request IP addresses under their own privacy and retention policies.

How We Use Your Data

We use account and trial information to provide the preview, operate checkout, secure the service, and support your export. We do not sell your information to third parties.

Data Storage

Account records, content-free trial findings, and funnel events are stored in Neon Postgres. The three selected trial calls are held in a private Cloudflare R2 bucket isolated to that trial and authorized by a dedicated Durable Object. Access ends after three days; alarm retries and an R2 lifecycle rule backstop deletion. Analytics data is processed by Vercel in accordance withVercel's privacy policy.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us atprivacy@portshift.app. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.

Cookies and Analytics

The marketing site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless by design. The authenticated product uses cookies that are necessary for account sessions and security; Clerk processes those session cookies as our authentication provider.
